This has to be the best place to stay if you are flying to or from Heathrow. Jurys Inn Heathrow is located next to Hatton Cross tube station, just one stop away from this busy airport. Although this hotel is well positioned for the airport, you may want to extend your stay to take a visit to Windsor which is just a short drive from Jury’s Inn Heathrow. If you have spare time in the morning before your flight, get to Windsor for 10.30am in time to watch the changing of the Guard with its impressive uniforms and band. The Castle itself is amazing. If you are interested in weapons, go and see The armoury and if dolls are more your thing then the Queen Anne’s Dolls House is quite something. If you have time to visit The Chapel just imagine the ceremonies that have taken place there. You may even spy the Queen. You can see if she’s there by checking which flag is flying. If its’ the Royal Standard, she’s home.
If you are travelling with children and have some spare time or you can book an extra night, wear them out at Legoland, again just a short drive from Heathrow.
